Confirmation Sunday
April 14th

On Palm Sunday we welcomed as a member into this body of faith our confirmand Isabel Schumacher. We give thanks and are filled with much joy in the witness of faith this young women shared. May God bless you as you continue in your life of faith.

Easter Sunrise Service

Easter morning is very important to Moravians. We continue to partake in a tradition that is now 246 years old. That tradition is known as our Easter Morning Sunrise service. Before the sun rises, we gather for a special worship service led by our Easter Band and as the light of the early dawn begins to break through the darkness we gather outside to sing praise to our risen  Savior.

Our 2019 Lenten Journey

Unloading Our Burdens
Each Wednesday night during Lent, we gathered together for an evening of fellowship, reflection and worship. Our theme this year focused on letting go of the burdens we carry with us in our lives. We discussed topics such as worry, fear of failing or ‘not being enough’, working through damaged or scarred relationships, dealing with financial burdens, and grieving those we have lost.  We looked at first hand examples of each of these topics from scripture and took time to reflect on where we might be carrying these burdens in our own lives. It was a wonderful journey for our family of faith.
